Celebrate the festive season with us on this magnificent break to Kraków and the Tatra Mountains, enjoying the breathtaking scenery and delightful markets of Poland. Christmas Day will be spent in the splendid Zakopane with a lunch included and free time to discover the city for yourself! Local departure by coach, then to the Netherlands for an overnight stay.
Travel through Germany for an overnight in Berlin. Upon arrival, why not enjoy some free time in the centre of the city? The capital offers a wide variety of Christmas markets all over the city, including Gendarmenmarkt, one of Berlin's most beautiful squares. In the west of Berlin, Breitscheidplatz is worth a visit, particularly for some last-minute Christmas shopping. All the markets have a different ambiance catering to all kinds of visitors!
Today, we depart Germany and travel into Poland to visit the Christmas market in Wrocław. It is often regarded as one of the best Christmas markets in Poland and one of the most beautiful in Europe!
Upon arrival, enjoy an included guided tour before enjoying free time to explore the main stalls, which are located in the “Rynek" or Market Square but also in the "Plac" or Place Solny. Here, discover the various locally-made craft products, perfect for some last-minute Christmas shopping, and divulge in the array of Polish specialties and gastronomic treats from around the world.Afterwards, we continue onto Kraków. After we have settled into the hotel, we will travel to a local restaurant to enjoy an evening meal with festive-inspired Polish folklore entertainment.
This morning, enjoy a guided tour to introduce you to the sights of the Old Town of Kraków, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Market Square is one of the largest medieval squares in Europe and deserving of its place among the most beautiful in the world. The square is the focal point of the city and is divided by the imposing Gothic style Cloth Hall, which is also the setting for Krakow’s biggest Christmas markets.
After the sightseeing tour, enjoy a tasting of the mulled wine before spending time at leisure to explore all at your own pace. Perhaps wander the charming market stalls of Kraków's Christmas Market a bit more, savouring the scents of mulled wine and gingerbread and finding unique gifts for loved ones. Alternatively, you can walk up Wawel Hill to the Royal Cathedral, one of Poland’s greatest buildings, and the burial place of over 40 Polish Kings.
Upon returning to the hotel, enjoy an aperitif before settling in for your evening meal.
Merry Christmas! Today, enjoy an included visit to Zakopane, located in the heart of the Tatra Mountains. Here, you can see the amazing traditional wooden architecture, unique to this region. Enjoy a lunch at a local restaurant before having some free time to explore the area. Upon returning to the hotel in Kraków, it is time relax and enjoy a delicious Christmas dinner with our fellow travellers.
Today, join our optional guided tour in the Kazimierz district of Kraków, a major Jewish quarter vibrant with life, take a journey of remembrance brought to life by the knowledgeable guide. Alternatively, make the most of the hotel's spa facilities and enjoy some free time in Kraków.

Join our optional excursion to the town of Wieliczka and the oldest salt mine in Europe. The mines are an impressive underground world of salt lakes and galleries. They are a masterpiece of generations of miners who have created a subterraneous world of chambers and lakes, where galleries, halls, chapels and numerous sculptures have been carved in the salt rock.
The journey starts at the Danilowicz Shaft where we meet our guide, and then descend via some 380 steps to 64 metres below ground. Our guide takes us on a fascinating journey through the magnificent chambers, revealing the history and the secrets of the mine. At the end of our visit, we return to the surface by the miners lift.

Today we depart Kraków and travel into Czechia for an overnight in the capital, Prague. Here, you can explore at your leisure or join our optional guided walking tour for an introduction to this beautiful city, affectionately known as the ‘Golden Town’.
The many historic buildings, grand squares and elegant landmarks such as Wenceslas Square, the famous Astronomical Clock and Charles Bridge make it a lovely place to explore on foot. Our local guide's informative commentary will reveal many of the stories behind the buildings and personalities which have shaped the history of this magnificent city. The Christmas Markets are also still open – what a treat! Enjoy a spot of last-minute shopping and some traditional Czech goodies!
