After breakfast, we visit the jewel in Cornwall’s crown, St Ives. Home to iconic beaches, quaint streets and a postcard-worthy harbour, it’s no surprise that this charming coastal town is one of the most visited in the region.

From here, we’ll continue to explore the ancient market town of Penzance, which is famous for its pirates – the singing variety! With other highlights including the historic port and the Wharfside Shopping Centre, which is brimming with independent shops and high street brands, there is plenty to see and do here.

Enjoy a day at leisure or join our optional excursion to visit two more of Cornwall's treasures – Looe and Polperro. Looe is a picturesque fishing harbour situated on the South East coast, and with one of the largest fishing fleets in Cornwall, it is an ideal place to enjoy fresh seafood.

From here, we’ll head to Polperro, a picture-postcard Cornish fishing town with whitewashed cottages and a pretty harbour dotted with cafés and gift shops.

Today we enjoy a free day to explore St Mawes. You can relax on the sandy beach, enjoy panoramic views of the sea and the estuary, and sample fresh seafood at cosy pubs and restaurants.

You can also explore the rich history and culture of St Mawes, from its 16th-century castle to its sailing heritage. Why not indulge in a Cornish cream tea in one of the delightful tea rooms in the afternoon? The options are endless!

Today we enjoy a real Cornish treat! Firstly, we visit the charming, working fishing port of Padstow. Famous for its bustling harbour and boutique shops and galleries, why not sit along the harbour wall and watch the hustle and bustle as the fresh seafood is brought in. We also include a fish and chips lunch at Rick Stein's today so you can experience authentic Cornwall.

After lunch, we travel to Port Isaac, made famous as the home to TV series Doc Martin. In this quintessential Cornish fishing village, you can explore the harbour and filming locations and maybe enjoy a Cornish ice cream to end your day.

Join our included excursion to Newquay and Truro today. Newquay is the most popular seaside resort in Cornwall, famous for Fistral Beach which hosts international surfing and watersports competitions. The town itself is filled with attractions and you will have time to explore and pick up some souvenirs.

On the way back from Newquay, we will stop at the capital of Cornwall, Truro. Built at the turn of the century, Truro Cathedral dominates the skyline with its 250 foot-high towers and has some interesting Victorian stained glass windows. The streets around the Cathedral are lined with the very best of Cornish craft shops and locally-made goods that Cornwall is renowned for. This is also the very spot to find lots of those Cornish delicacies to take back home!
