Not enough information given to us regarding the sites we were passing, the towns or villages we went to. Maybe the company should have given the drivers(who were new to the area) some sort of informative script. I really do not feel that I have experienced Ireland at all. The Irish National Stud and Japanese gardens visit was very good. The Dublin tour guide was excellent too. But the rest was slightly disappointing. I ended up going in to the tourist board in Kildare and was amazed at the story of that town and St Brigid. It would have been better to have heard some information about this and the Abbey etc. on the way in. The hotel was good, but too far out to do anything, there was nothing to do in the evening at all! No entertainment. The journey back left a bit to be desired. The driver had run out of hours due to traffic delays, so there was a lot of hanging around. The pick ups and drop offs could be organised better. One woman on our feeder coach who lived in Cheltenham was told pick up in Bristol and paid for overnight accommodation…. Only to be brought back to Cheltenham to pick us up! We were taken To Cheltenham by taxi where we could have been picked up in Strensham Services with others! We ended up arranging for a lift home from Strensham rather than wait to go to Cheltenham, then have to taxi all the way back to Ross on Wye. Overall not totally impressed with this holiday, although there were a few high points.

The driver was ace - friendly and funny. The coach was ok. The first Hotel (Tulfarris) was really good - large rooms, friendly and helpful service and absolutely awesome food. The itinerary is mixed with some really good days (Dublin, Seaside visits: Bray etc.) included in the itinerary and some blander trips (Avoca, Arklow). We chose not to go on the Stud Farm & Japanese Gardens excursion and arranged our own trip to Russborough House - It was awesome and a genuine treasure.

Had a fabulous time in County Wicklow with Shearings. The coach and ferry travel was excellent and our hotel in Tulfarris was first class in every respect. The only negative was our first taxi from Wakefield to Leeds was late and then when it did arrive it was too small to accommodate us.
