Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then on to Weston-super-Mare for four nights.
Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Bath, one of England's most beautiful cities, boasting hot springs, historic baths and spectacular Georgian stone crescents.
Built for pleasure and relaxation, beautiful Bath has long been a well-being destination and the waters of the ancient Roman Baths are still a draw. The compact city centre that surrounds the stunning Abbey overflows with places to eat and drink and you'll also find some of the finest independent shops in Britain!
Enjoy a day to relax in Weston-super-Mare. Nestled on the Somerset coast, with a 2-mile stretch of sandy beach, the level seafront is a delightful stroll from the hotel. The Grand Pier is a great choice for traditional seaside fun and where you can enjoy an ice-cream whilst watching the donkey rides on the sands!
Alternatively, join our optional excursion to the village of Cheddar, set below the towering Cheddar Gorge cliffs which have fascinated visitors for centuries. There are gentle riverside walks to be enjoyed from the village as well as quaint tearooms and, of course, the famous Cheddar Gorge Cheese Company! We then call at Wells, England's smallest city bursting with history and culture.
The optional excursions will be available to book during your tour.
Prices are per person and are subject to change. Payment will be in sterling (cash payments only).
Today we visit Bristol, which boasts an intriguing mix of old and new, from the modern harbourside to the historic Old City.
Why not visit Brunel's SS Great Britain, the world's first great ocean liner dating back to 1843, or for something more modern, perhaps you'd prefer to join one of the Banksy tours taking in some of this mysterious artist's most famous works?
Return home.
You will stay for four nights at either the New Ocean Hotel, the New Birchfield Hotel or the 3-star Grand Atlantic Hotel in Weston-super-Mare
Location: Beach Road, Weston Super Mare, BS23 1BA

The hotel was brilliant clean and comfortable. if a little tired, paint wise. Unlike the staff who were extremely efficient and friendly. The food was plentiful, well cooked and presented. Tours and interchange did not run smoothly on occasions, because of traffic. I did not understand how many people were so moany about this, There was nothing anyone could do. I think the drivers coped remarkably with them. Having to repeat so many times. Never met so many moaning people, a lot of other needless moans. Eg their light bulb needed changing but they wouldn’t ask the staff who were very responsive and would have it sorted!! No they moaned everyday. Anyway I took no notice. I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday our coach driver was excellent.

I cannot find fault with this holiday at all. Our driver was very polite, helpful and entertaining. Grand Atlantic Hotel was a very comfortable hotel, the food was ‘out of this world’, I had a nice comfy room. The hotel was very near to the main amenities in Weston.

A really enjoyable break. While Weston super mare hasn't got much going for it apart from the beach, the trips to Bath, Wells and Bristol were great. The hotel in WSM was very good - a bit dated and in need of some TLC, but the dinners were excellent and the staff lovely.
