We’ll visit elegant Harrogate, vibrant Leeds, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Saltaire and pretty Haworth – the home of the Brontë Sisters. Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then on to Yorkshire for a four-night stay.
Enjoy a trip to historic York, where visitors are charmed by the beautiful architecture and quaint Shambles. Wander through the medieval streets in the heart of the city, marvel at the Gothic splendour of the York Minster or enjoy a stroll along the magnificent walls that still encircle the historic centre. With other highlights including world-class museums, delightful cafés and independent shops, there’s no shortage of things to see and do.
Today we visit elegant Harrogate. This boutique spa town has attracted visitors for centuries, and there is an abundance of thriving shops and eateries to enjoy. Be sure to visit Bettys Café Tea Rooms – home to the famous Yorkshire Fat Rascal!
We also visit vibrant Leeds – a wonderfully modern city with a rich industrious past. Explore the many Victorian and Edwardian shopping arcades, admire the stunning architecture or visit the Royal Armouries Museum (entry not included).
Enjoy a trip to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Saltaire. Named after Sir Titus Salt, who built the textile mill known as Salts Mill and this village on the River Aire, you’ll find spectacular Italianate architecture, rich history, independent shops and art galleries here.
Later in the day we continue to pretty Haworth. This beautiful village was home to the famous Brontë Sisters, who's classic novels evoked the wild surrounding scenery. Enjoy free time to browse the antique shops, watch the world go by from a café or visit the Brontë Parsonage Museum – the former home of the literary sisters (entry not included).
Return home.
